In depth course provides students with thorough information and basic skills in the correct construction of walls using insulating concrete forms. Participants will learn about the materials and products involved, the critical aspects of wall design and assembly, and the steps to building walls correctly and efficiently. Students will have the background needed to participate as productive members of a supervised ICF construction crew.

Introduction to Site Management of Modular Construction consists of a series of topics or training modules spanning a two days and covering four critical elements leading to the successful onsite completion of a modular home. Lecture and hands-on exercises are utilized to explore site and foundation preparation, overview of optimal scheduling, complete modular home set, finishing a modular home, Energy Star certification and building green–the builder’s role. Upon completion, builders will be able to ensure the quality and integrity of the modular home through training and education and will receive a certificate identifying successful completion of the course.
